o0yu x rOrU is the multimedia duo project by Yuki LN (CA/JP) and Rodolfo Rueda (PER). This collaboration draws from the distinct backgrounds of both artists: Rodolfo’s work morphs between nuanced subtlety and chaotic intricacies exploring live improvisation and taking the audience into an inmersive exploration of rythm and continuous evolution of sonic enviroments.
Industrial, club, deconstructed, noise, Afro-Peruvian — influences are torn apart, distorted, and blended without hesitation.
On the other hand Yuki’s visual imaginary explores live visuals with the use of original work where 3D renders, animation, visual programming and videography merge together to transport the audience into layers of microscopic textures, mythological atmosphere that echo the sound design approach.
In this live set environment, sound and visuals meet in a shared language: abstract, layered and detailed blending organic and digital into one.
